What is Keyword Research and Why Should I Do It?
Keyword research is the practice of thoroughly researching the keywords for your online marketing strategy - whether it is for article marketing, blog posting, domain registrations or bookmarking.
Keywords are the words people use when they are trying to find something in the search engines. Simple, isn't it? Well, yes and no.
While it is fairly simple to find out what words people are typing into the search engines, there is quite a science behind analysing these words. For example, did you know you can find out whether someone is likely to want to buy anything, just by researching the statistics behind a keywords? Cool, isn't it?
And there are other factors too. You might want to know how many searches a keywords gets each day or month. If you had the choice of writing an article for a keyword that gets one person searching for it each day and ten people searching for it each day, which would you choose? Well, probably the one with ten searches a day, right?
